Assistant Director Scott Lanzen
Scott and his wife Christie have two girls and live in Littleton. After growing up in Indiana, Scott attended college in Wisconsin, then continued migrating west to Iowa, and now has resided in Colorado for over 9 years. His experiences include banking, agriculture, athletic coaching, janitorial, and ministry. In his little free time he enjoys sports, the outdoors, motorcycling, reading, working with his hands, and taking on challenges. ”I enjoy helping others however I can and working together in a team environment!”

After 46 years of me being in control of my life, I found it to be spiraling out of control until I finally struck bottom and bounced several times. Knowing that I was out of control and could not fix myself,
I finally surrendered and gave my life back to God. It was always his to begin with, anyways. I just thought I knew better than Him. Now a humble and broken individual sent by my savior Jesus Christ to do God’s will and to serve Him. I am saved by the Grace of God and walking it out like Jesus Christ.

Our Directive
Connect with men and women leaving prison.
Established relationships with prison chaplains who connect us with inmates desiring help and support. Use reputable ministries who will join with us to provide individuals to mentor inmates, preparing them for a life outside of prison. Working with these ministries to encourage support for A Strong Tower Ministry (ASTM) to establish connections for these released inmates with local churches and accountability groups.Help equip those leaving prison to become productive members of society.
Build relationships with mature Christian mentors. Provide a program that will teach and equip these released prisoners in basic life skills to survive and be successful individuals in society. (Details to be provided soon) Provide access to churches, bible studies, and healthy Christian relationships.Educate volunteers and church leaders to understand the issues returning citizens face.
Create a course providing practical methods to work with these released men and women. Also to provide support to the leadership of churches in equipping their members as disciples in being effective with these released men and women. Support local congregations in developing their spiritual gifts to be effective in encouraging and helping these men and women to see success through Jesus Christ.Build a team of Christians within the community to support the ministry.
Coordinate speaking engagements at local and state wide churches to explain the ministry and the ministry needs including servants (i.e. Mentors) within their churches for supporting these newly released individuals. Work with established Christian ministries, such as KAIROS, Hook Ministries, among others; to identify how they and we can work together for the common goal to assist these individuals leaving prison.
